Smart Cleaning Ltd was established in 1988 by Andrew Cheney who has concentrated the business mainly in the Bournemouth & Poole area.

Once the company had the necessary operational experience, it expanded into the whole of Dorset and the home counties. It has gained numerous contracts, including many household names.

In 2002 Smart Cleaning Ltd purchased a ladderless window cleaning system (waterfed poles) to comply with health & safety regulations.

In 2003 Mr. John Conroy was appointed as office manager. Mr. Conroy has been in the cleaning industry for over 20 years and has worked in all aspects of cleaning.

In 2004 we were accredited with the Safecontractor charter, by a specialist risk assessment management company. This demonstrates that we are committed to our present and future clients, especially with regard to health & safety.

Later the same year, Mr. Nathan Arnold was appointed as window cleaning manager. Mr. Arnold was one of the first window cleaners in Dorset to use waterfed poles. His knowledge and expertise has been a great asset to Smart Cleaning and its clients. His duties include on-site supervision of our staff. This includes making sure that all staff work within our Safecontractor charter.

Our goals for 2006 are to incorporate ISO Quality management system into Smart Cleaning.
